Hurricane's devastate entire communities. Jake's Network of Hope is equipped with supplies and partnerships to response to disasters on a national level. For example, we've previously provided hurricane relief to Hurricane Maria / Puerto Rico (2017); Hurricane Harvey / Texas and Florida (2017); Hurricane Irma / Haiti (2018); Hurricane Florence / North Carolina (2018).

We are currently providing support to Hurricane Ian in Florida and Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico.

Hurricane Ian devastated Florida on Sept. 28, leveling homes and destroying communities beyond recognition. Residents were left in desperate need of many basic items, thousands of people having lost nearly everything. Jake's Network of Hope partnered with NM Expedited and the Neenah Police Department, who is in direct contact with the Fort Meyers Police Department to send semi-trailers of much needed products. Your donation to this project offsets costs associated with providing these items, and allows us to provide additional support as needed for hurricane and other disaster response efforts.

Hurricane Fiona created a devastating impact on Puerto Ricans, after rampaging the country in September 2022. While Hurricane Fiona was only a Category 1 hurricane when it hit the island, versus Hurricane Maria that hit Puerto Rico in 2017 as a Category 4, the biggest problem now is that the island has not properly recovered from the damage of Maria. The economic losses from this storm will be heightened by the still-existing problems on the island created in 2017. We have active partners who are working with us to get many cloth hygiene items to people in need. Your donation helps cover the cost of items and shipping to support these people.
