We are proud to celebrate a remarkable moment: the City of Vista’s official proclamation of “Cindy Taylor Day,” honoring a woman whose compassion, leadership, and dedication have left a lasting imprint on our community. We were honored to witness this recognition firsthand during our HOPE in Full Bloom Gala, where we also celebrated Cindy as she received Operation HOPE–North County’s Board Legacy Award, acknowledging the profound and enduring impact she has made through her service.

Cindy Taylor embodies what it means to lead with heart. As Board Secretary of Operation HOPE–North County, she has guided our mission with strategic expertise and deep humanity. Cindy brings invaluable insight to our work, but it is her kindness, generosity, and genuine love for others that truly define her impact.

Her journey with Operation HOPE began not in a boardroom but at a community booth during Vista’s Strawberry Festival, where a simple act of volunteering sparked years of service, leadership, and friendship. Since then, she has inspired those we serve and everyone fortunate enough to work alongside her.

Cindy reminds us that service is not just about what we give but how we show up. Whether supporting families in crisis, preparing a warm meal to share with friends, or helping assemble gifts of gratitude for our staff, she leads with intention, joy, and compassion.
