As author of The Beloved Community Patricia Spears Jones notes in our video, “literature is the least funded of all of the arts.” That's only been further highlighted these past weeks with the termination of our NEA grant, which has been a meaningful part of our financial support for nearly the entirety of our fifty year existence. Your donated support—which makes up over half of our operational budget—is critical to ensuring that we can continue to publish socially responsive and community-inspiring poetry.

Your support will help us to bring seven Fall/Winter titles across the production finish line, including collections by authors Leila Chatti, Natalie Scenters-Zapico, Gabrielle Calvocoressi, Shangyang Fang, Lisa Olstein, Natalie Shapero, as well as an anthology of Palestinian poetry edited by Tayseer abu Odeh and Sherah Bloor (with guest editor Jorie Graham).
