Community-Based Music Mentorship

InTune - A program rooted in providing intentional, student-led, music education in spaces that historically have not had access to it. Our goal is to build a sustainable network of teaching artists who develop programming that provides:

Relevancy - reflective of the student's needs, interests, and cultural background.
Representation - investing in leaders that reflect the kids in appearance and life experiences to build trust and help them envision their musical path as they grow
Mentorship - build consistent, healthy relationships for kids to rely on and learn with.

Educational Programming

Jerry Brown Acoustic Music Clubs - Programs for youth and adults with special needs. With a variety of partners, these programs allow participants to express themselves in new ways and build social skills in a unique environment.

River Music Experience

RiverCurrents - An opportunity for students throughout the QC to deepen their knowledge of music, learn about music heritage, and how it relates to our home. The program reaches every Davenport 5th grader each year, along with several other schools.

Live Programming

Our focus is to present diverse, engaging concerts that bring audiences and musicians together.

Live@Five Concert Series - Live music supporting local bands, featuring a wide range of genres and styles. Concerts are free and family-friendly. Held in the RME Courtyard June-early October.

Smooth Jazz Series - A series typically featuring national-level performers two to three times per year. Sometimes features an educational workshop for students.

All Sweat Series - All Sweat productions bring together local musicians from various genres, with the goal of creating new relationships and collaborations among our local music scene.

Underground Xperience Showcases - Produced in collaboration with the Underground Economy, this series is a quarterly showcase of local up-and-coming musicians, typically focusing on hip hop and R&B.
