We need your help to ensure that River's Edge can continue to create theatre in 2024.

About us...

River's Edge Theatre Company is a non-profit organization with the mission to reflect the human experience, spark conversation, and inspire social change. The company was founded by David and Meghan Covington in 2019 to raise awareness on issues the couple thought were deserving of more conversation in their community - social justice reform, gender equality, race, immigration, mental health, gun control, and climate change...the list goes on.

To go along with that mission to inspire social change and to connect authentically with our community, each River's Edge Theatre Co show highlights a well-respected, non-profit organization who is making positive change in the world. By raising funds and awareness for notable non-profits, we are able to deepen our impact in their local and global communities. Past partnerships have included organizations such as The Innocence Project (social justice reform), Family to Family (family, senior, and immigrant services), Feeding Westchester (Food Distribution during Covid), The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center (LGBTQ+ support), The Mental Health Association of Westchester, Riverkeeper, and the Be a Friend Project.

Once a year River's Edge takes a break from raising funds for other organizations in order to raise much needed funds to maintain their own organization, and YOU CAN HELP! Attend our Page to Stage Takes the Stage show on April 21st or simply donate.

Where will the 2024 Fundraiser funds go?

Need-based scholarship funds. Funds that ensure local children and adults can participate in our classes and workshops regardless of their financial status.
Our 2024 main stage productions - Homegrown Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream and Peek-a-Boo (An immersive theatrical romp). Funds go directly to artist fees. Artists as in, the talented local theatre makers (actors, playwrights, technical crew, designers, and directors) that make our productions so very special.
