100% of your ticket price/donation will go directly to JLCIF's product program, which helps cochlear implant recipients, in the U.S., with the costs of repairing, replacing and upgrading their external sound processor devices, without which they will lose their hearing for a second time.

About JLCIF: Joyful Life Cochlear Implant Fund is the last stop between a person being able to maintain hearing with their CI device and being deaf full time.

The applicants who come to JLCIF must have exhausted all other avenues to pay for the costs of maintaining their external sound processors (government programs, insurance, etc). A simple $250 for a rechargeable battery can mean the different between someone being able to hear and being deaf 100% of the time. At Joyful Life Cochlear Implant Fund we believe a person's ability to hear should not depend on their ability to pay.

Fun Fact: The French health care system reimburses these costs, which is how it should be everywhere, but unfortunately it's not the case in the United States.
