School is almost here, and we’re preparing for our first ever Josie's Closet Back to School Campaign!

The mission of Josie’s Closet is to empower and support families in Community and Title I elementary schools in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties by providing new essential clothing items to promote school readiness, academic achievement and wellness. We strive to eliminate clothing insecurity to improve self-esteem and promote a sense of dignity.

Since Josie's Closet was founded, we have provided clothing to 2,507 students in 41 different elementary schools! To continue to make an impact, we have set a goal to raise $5,000 as we start the 2026-2027 school year. We need your support!

Each clothing delivery reminds the children of the caring community supporting them. Imagine their excitement when they receive new clothes, often the first new clothes they’ve ever received.

✨ Your impact:

$25 = Socks and underwear for one child
$30 = Shoes for one child
$45 = Winter coat for one child
$60 = School uniforms (shirts and pants)
$100 = Support one child (tops, bottoms, socks, underwear, shoes)
$300 = Support three children with full outfits
