Event
2024 A Walk for M.E.
Saturday, October 5th, 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM EDT
In Person
The JECF presents "A Walk for M.E" - A Walk for M.E is walking for Mental Health and Education. Studies have indicated that walking (and other forms of cardiovascular exercise) can benefit individuals dealing with a range of mental health battles, such as anxiety, or agoraphobia* (which we all may suffer from due to COVID-19). So, grab your Fall fitness attire, and step out for JECF's "A Walk for M.E." (and you)! Your willingness to join us directly reflects your a commitment to supporting mental health advocacy and education. Please join us in "A Walk for M.E." *Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder characterized by symptoms of anxiety in situations where the person perceives their environment to be unsafe with no easy way to escape. These situations can include open spaces, public transit, shopping centers, or simply being outside their home.. ** Note: Your donations are greatly appreciated, and will provide support to different partner organizations and programs that prioritize mental health education and services. Please see www.johnevancashfoundation.com for a list of our partners.
