Since 2020, I have supported the annual "A Walk for M. E." A Walk for M. E. is a walk for Mental Health and Education. I have coordinated volunteers, walked, and made personal donations.
John E. Cash's death was due to a mental illness known as Agoraphobia* days before he graduated from college. Since he died in 2019, I have been reminded too often of how mental illness impacts so many African Americans of all ages.
The John Evan Cash Foundation was developed to support those who feel underserved. 100 % of donations are used for scholarships and to assist those needing mental health advocacy. To continue John Evan's Dream, the John Evan Cash Foundation has pledged to assist young individuals who need a "win" and to help offer support through their journey.
Please join us in "A Walk for M.E." -A Walk for M.E is walking for Mental Health and Education.
