When Susan Hough, Executive Director of the nonprofit Wisdom Spring, and Maya Tayabayashi, former President of the Walking for Water Club, visited Ms. Kudla's fifth-grade class to discuss the urgent need for clean, accessible water in villages across Africa and India, the students were inspired to take action.

For over twenty years, Wisdom Spring has been dedicated to providing needy communities with clean water and education. Through generous donations, the organization has successfully built more than 50 functional wells in Burkina Faso, Togo, Ghana, and India, transforming countless lives through access to these vital resources.

Wisdom Spring is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a double bottom line. Through student social impact clubs, it brings water to communities in need.
