The JLCW is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training. The service area of the League is based in Central Westchester and extends throughout Northern Westchester, including but not limited to the towns of: Armonk, Bedford, Bedford HIlls, Briarcliff, Chappaqua, Eastchester, Greenburgh, Katonah, Pleasantville, Mount Kisco, Pound Ridge, Scarsdale, Somers, White Plains and Yorktown.

Since 1947, the JLCW has been making a meaningful impact in the local community. Projects in the 2025-2026 year include the Westchester County Diaper Bank, Feeding the Homeless, Literacy Projects with Head Start and more!
