Life After Release will be holding its 6th Justice & Liberation Institute this upcoming spring.

The Justice & Liberation Institute is a program dedicated to building, educating and empowering formerly incarcerated individuals and their loved ones on how to navigate the criminal justice system. Each week we will discuss structural causes and engage in a critical analysis of the system and how mass incarceration disproportionately impacts our black communities. Our aim is to prepare, recruit and mobilize justice minded individuals to support legislation and other local campaigns that directly effect returning citizens in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
