What an incredible year!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. As we close out the year, celebrating ten years of providing transitional housing, life skills, mentors, community and family to dozens of vulnerable young adults, we are feeling blessed. Our heart is full during this season with gratitude, and the kindness you have shown to our ministry this year. While we have had a few transitional challenges along the way, through your encouragement, generous gifts and support, we have been able to do so much this year.

Here are a few of this year’s highlights:

One of our residents graduated from High School and got his driver’s license, another resident was able to purchase her first car, two successfully completed our program and moved into local apartments, and one of our alumni graduated college and landed her first job overseas. Two residents are currently pursuing educational advancement, and another just passed her RBTC exam and was able to earn a raise. We were also able to provide much-needed counseling to several of our young adults. We launched our Alumni Circle this year and have had great success in staying in touch with these former residents. We have been able to provide much ongoing support needed as they have transitioned out on their own.

This year we were once again blessed with great mentors, spiritual discussion leaders, life skills teachers and many other volunteers helping with additional projects. We are so appreciative of these individuals helping us build up these young adults. Another huge blessing for us this year, due in part to a very generous supporter, we were able to purchase a new ‘Boys’ house that will allow us to house an extra young man moving forward.
