Your Charitable Donations in 2022-2023 at work, we have accomplished a lot, but there is still much more to be done!

JUNTOS Vieques, a 501(c)(3) NonProfit Organization, founded in 2014, (1101.01 Certified, Compliant for Act 60 | 2014-1101.01-192 Certificacion de Vigencia de Exencion Contributiva de Entidad Sin Fines de Lucro) runs a Youth Center, After School Program, Humane Education, as well as Youth Educational Programs in Vieques, Puerto Rico, USA.

The main objective of JUNTOS is to work together locally with innovative programs to prepare young people, in one of the most underserved municipalities in Puerto Rico, (island of Vieques has a population of 8,000, average income is $14,000 a year). We aim to inspire leadership skills within the Youth of Vieques empowering them to reach their full potential. JUNTOS strives to equip youth with the ability to identify unjust, inhumane, and unsustainable systems in our community and around the world, create solutions, and execute those plans effectively.

Juntos Vieques set the goal of opening a Youth Center in Esperanza, Vieques, Puerto Rico. Due to the support of generous charitable donations, we were able to secure a building that was abandoned for over 20 years, and to complete enough renovations to the building that we were able to offer educational after school programs, within the building, beginning in October of 2023. We were able to open a dedicated class room for elementary / secondary (middle) school children beginning in September of 2023.

Our work is far from over, we are reaching out again to request the support of charitable donations. You can make a substantial difference in the lives of the children of Vieques, Puerto Rico. We currently serve over 150 children on the island with our after school program. Additionally, we are offering a new kind of hands-on learning program, with project based self-directed learning that inspire ingenuity and better prepare youth with skill sets needed for the world today.

JuntosVieques with $30,000 worth of charitible donations along with the generous donations (& tireless efforts) of Isla Nena Renovations donation of Time, Labor, Expertise, Design, Installs, Demolition & Haul Away. Our dream of opening a Youth Center for afterschool programs, with a dedicated Green School class room for elementary / secondary educational programs came true. We met our goal of being in the new building in October of 2023:
