Cody Lynn Humphrey
September 23, 1982 – March 19, 2023

Cody grew up in the Arkansas Valley, graduating from Fowler High School. During his high school years, he discovered a passion for art, particularly drawing. His talent was nurtured by his art teacher and mentor, Sandy (Moss) Nelson McClure. After graduation, Cody decided to join the Navy, which introduced him to new experiences and opportunities.

Cody's naval career spanned 20 years, during which he served with distinction and dedication. He discovered a love for cars and motorcycles, frequently buying, fixing up, and selling them. Cody's commitment to excellence was evident in everything he undertook. He ultimately achieved the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer and was an alumnus of Special Reconnaissance Team TWO (SRT-2).

Cody was married three times, and through these unions, he had two sons: one adopted, Arik Bergman, and one biological, Jacob Humphrey. Cody was a devoted father, taking pride in his children and striving to be the best father he could be. His mother and stepfather survive him: Kay and Rick Pratt; his sister, April Humphrey; his brother, Dustin Humphrey; his brother-in-law, Timothy Smith; his sons, Arik Bergman and Jacob Humphrey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and his wife, Amanda.

Cody Humphrey tragically passed away on March 19, 2023. His untimely death left a significant void in the lives of his family and friends. He was remembered as the best person many had ever known, having helped countless people achieve their goals. His impact as a father, son, brother, and friend was profound, and he was beloved by all who knew him. Cody's legacy is one of service, dedication, and love. His commitment to his family, his Navy career, and his friends made the world a better place. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
