This fund aims to protect and enhance the James P. Harrington Center at Ferry Hill, situated on 9 acres of pristine conservation marshland. The Center at Ferry Hill is envisioned as a dual-purpose sanctuary, advancing community mental health while serving as a serene retreat for healing and reflection. We are pleased to announce that all donations made between now and the end of the 2024 calendar year will be matched up to $100,000. That doubles the impact of each donation!

The James Harrington Fund will act as a comprehensive guardian for this crucial natural habitat, ensuring its protection for future generations. Simultaneously, the fund will facilitate the development of innovative programs to improve mental well-being within our community, utilizing the marshland's tranquil environment as a therapeutic asset. By integrating environmental stewardship with mental health support, we seek to establish a collaborative effort that sustains both the land and its people.

This annual fund is celebrated yearly at a themed JPH Community dinner. The 2024 celebration will be on October 5th and in honor of the Year of the Dragon is named the Dragon Dinner. This year, we will unveil a stunning artistic creation—a majestic dragon, crafted with care by our community to symbolize our journey of evolution and progress. The dragon stands as a beacon of strength, representing our collective drive to aid those who find themselves in their darkest times.
