Each year, the AAMA community honors a leader who has made a lasting impact, and in 2026, we proudly celebrate Eugene Jarvis of Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix. He once said, “The only legitimate use of a computer is to play games.” and then spent a lifetime proving it.

From creating Defender to co-developing Stargate and RoboTron, Eugene helped define the golden age of arcade gaming. In 2001, he co-founded Raw Thrills, continuing to shape the future of play for generations to come. A true pioneer and visionary, our industry is better because of him.

But this journal is about more than honoring excellence; it’s about changing lives.

Through the American Amusement Machine Charitable Foundation (AAMCF), this annual ad journal becomes a powerful vehicle for good, raising funds for organizations that bring hope, healing, and joy to children and families who are facing unimaginable challenges.

We are proud to support three extraordinary partner organizations:

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where top-tier medical teams provide life-saving treatment to children when they need it most.
KEEN USA (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) creates a safe, fun, and inclusive space for children with disabilities to play, exercise, and thrive.
Sunrise Association gives children with cancer and their siblings the chance to experience the joy of summer camp, completely free of charge.

These organizations do the work we all pray we never need. We support them in the hope that your child, your niece or nephew, your grandchild, never has to walk through those doors. But for the families who do, your support is everything. It’s medical care, laughter, moments of normalcy, and above all, hope.

This year, our goal is to raise $330,000. Every ad, every dollar, makes a difference.

AD REGISTRATION

On the next page, you’ll be prompted to select your donor level then taken to the registration page. That page will include important information, including instructions on adding your custom message to the online Donor Wall. Please read carefully and indicate you have done so by clicking the box next to that section. You will then be directed to a pop-up that will ask you to “Leave a message.” This content will appear on the online Donor Wall.

ONLINE DONOR WALL - IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

In the “From” field, enter how you would like your name displayed (e.g., Your Friends at AAMA, American Amusement Machine Association, or Pete, Tina & Melissa). You may also include a custom message and/or there is a button to upload a logo, image, or GIF—these will all be shown.

If you prefer, you can choose to hide your name or donation amount by selecting the checkbox.

If no information is entered, the name associated with your billing details (typically the name on the credit card) will be displayed by default. We are unable to make changes and will need to contact the software vendor to update names, so please read the instructions and submit carefully. We are unable to add any logos or photos after your registration has been submitted.

You may also skip this step entirely by selecting the option at the bottom—nothing will be displayed on the Donor Wall.

AD CREATION

For all ad spaces, you will have the opportunity during registration to indicate whether you will be creating your ad or would like the AAMCF to create your ad for you. There will be options to choose from, and you will receive upload links in the email receipt you receive following your donation being processed.
