We hope this message finds you well-fed after a wonderful Thanksgiving! As a valued member of the Hero Expeditions family, we want to thank you for your participation in our mission to support the emotional rehabilitation and well-being of those who serve our country and communities. Whether you have been a participant in one of our programs or if you are an applicant in waiting, there is no doubt that you understand the profound impact that our expeditions have on active-duty service members, veterans, first responders, and families of the fallen.

Today, we are reaching out to ask for your help. I'll be honest, fundraising in an election year is NEVER easy and today we find ourselves behind our fundraising goal for 2024. In an effort to close the gap we are doing something we have never done, we are reaching out to you, our applicants and past participants, to see if you would please consider Hero Expeditions when you ponder ways to make a difference during this Season of Giving.

Every dollar counts, and no donation is too small. Your involvement with Hero Expeditions means you’ve already been a part of something special or you are waiting for the right opportunity to come along. Now, we invite you to help us continue that work by giving back and making a lasting impact for others who need these outings and the camaraderie they provide.

It costs approximately $100 for each participant per day and up to $1,000 for multi-day events. Our goal with this campaign is to raise $15,000 to continue providing impactful experiences. In 2024, we are on pace to serve over 145 individuals, which would push our total to over 800 participants served since our inception. Your contribution will directly support our ability to offer even more expeditions that promote camaraderie, community, rejuvenation, and healing.
