Academy artistic director Jeremy Rhizor plays music of Italian Masters of the Baroque for a live-streamed violin recital from his home. Drawing from well-know composers such as Antonio Vivaldi and Arcangelo Corelli to lesser-know composers such as Giuseppe Colombi and Nicola Porpora, his program is designed to wrestle with the emotional musical extremes of Baroque Italy. Exciting virtuosic writing is balanced with introspective and tender moments in a program sure to delight both teens and adults.
