Read Across America Week 2026 - Join the Jenkins Readathon!

Check your students backpacks this week for the Jenkins Read-A-Thon pledge sheets!

How the Read-A-Thon works:

+ Each student may pledge to read a specified number of minutes at home (for example 30 minutes a day) from Monday, March 2nd to Friday, March 6th.

+ Friends and family can sponsor your reader with either a pledge per reading minute or as a flat donation. Donations support the Jenkins PTO and a portion of the funds raised this year will go towards new books for the school and the Jenkins library!

+ Read at home and return your pledge sheet and donations by Friday, March 6th!

How to send in donations:

Check: Please make checks payable to The Jenkins PTO
Venmo: @Jenkins-PTO - include ‘readathon’ in the notes
Online: www.givebutter.com/JenkinsReads2026

No one is required to donate and any amount will be greatly appreciated, the most important thing is to celebrate and encourage reading at home! Happy Reading!!
