For 40 years, Jerry Parent kept Camp Pinnacle running — long before most of us arrived and, in ways we're still discovering, long after he's gone. As our maintenance, Jerry was the person who showed up early, stayed late, and fixed things quietly so no one else had to worry. He knew every corner of Camp Pinnacle more than anyone, and he cared for it like it was his own.

But Jerry wasn't just someone who kept the lights on and the doors working. He was a good and faithful servant leader. He gave advice, kind words and always with a smile of assurance.

Jerry gave us four decades of quiet, steady care. Now we want to give something back — something that lasts.

We're raising funds to build the Gerald "Jerry" Parent Memorial Pavilion, a permanent gathering space at main campus where campers, staff, and families can come together for years to come. It's a fitting tribute for someone who spent his life fixing spaces for others to gather in.
