The kids and families of Joaquin Miller Elementary know how to have fun! This year our Joaq-a-thon theme is "Party Animals!"

So on Saturday, October 4th, let's unleash our inner party animal and raise money for our beloved school and have a great time while we do it.

Our goal is to truly "Party Like it's 1999" and raise $99,000 to help fund crucial school programs like library, science, P.E., classroom enrichments, field trips, our new garden program and more.

Just like last year we are fundraising as a class, so find the page with your class and send out the unique code for your class's fundraising page to friends, family, grandparents, coworkers, godparents (fairy or otherwise), dentists, college roommates, soccer team mates, book clubs and anyone else who loves your JM kid. You can send the link via text or email and also post the link to social media for maximum visibility.

There are prizes for the three classes with the most participation, so make sure to come out and support your Wolverine “Joaq-er,” as they make laps around the school on October 4th. There are also prizes for students in each class that "joaq" the most laps and the coveted golden tennis shoe award for the class who get's their classroom flag around the most laps.

We are actively looking for sponsors for each class to "match" the amount that each classroom raises which is how we have set our fundraising goals so high, so if you are a parent that works for an organization that might be interested in sponsorship or matching please reach out!
