The Magpie Creative Reuse Collective mission is simple, Keep things useful longer. At the heart of our organization, we are utilizing collective effort to creatively think about waste reduction and reuse.

We have been working since May of 2024 to open a full-size store, and on Dec. 6th, 2025, we will open the doors in a new 5,000sf warehouse! This space will be a place to donate and buy used materials, a place to be inspired for reuse, a collaborative and creative space for all.

Our "Nest Egg" goal is $30,000. In the past year and a half, we have received individual donations totaling $26,000 - from people who care about the work that we do at Magpie. Now, thanks to the generosity of Nancy Walrafen, we have the opportunity to meet our goal before we open our doors. Every donation made before Giving Tueseday (Dec 2) will be matched, up to $3,000.

Buy paint to make our new shop and workshop inviting and inspiring.
Buy shelves for a bigger store.
Hire more staff for longer open hours.
