Foster Village Charlotte (FVC) works to provide support and resources for foster and kinship families. Founded in 2018 by four foster moms, FVC’s mission is to create connections with dignity for children and families experiencing foster care by meeting urgent needs, providing educational and emotional support, and advocating as a collective community voice for children.

FVC serves to ensure children have stabilizing and thriving homes, lessen disruptions, and extend the longevity of a family choosing to foster so that children have strong support structures to build resiliency from adverse childhood experiences and trauma.
