Our Gathering Table is free and open to ALL women seeking life-giving friendships and community... and we intend to keep it that way! Over the past 2 years, we've hosted HUNDREDS of events in Middle Tennessee and we currently have close to 2,000 women who have joined Our Gathering Table.

Many women have found close friends and a group of women to do life with. While we are thrilled to serve our current membership, we know that there are tens of thousands of women in Middle Tennessee looking for connection, friendship and community. It's time to expand to reach the growing needs of our community.

Why Are We Raising Money?

It costs money to run Our Gathering Table--to plan and host events...

Things like website hosting fees, MeetUp and Email Software Fees, Technical Support, Bookkeeping and Legal Expenses, Marketing Expenses to get the word out about OGT, Table Hostess Supplies, Office Supplies, Venue Rentals and more....

This is in addition to needed volunteers to give of their time and talent alongside Co-Founders, Natasha & Richard Hazlett.

We are committed to keeping Our Gathering Table free, and in order to do so, we started Gathering Table Ministries which is in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) status. This tax-exempt, non-profit status will enable us to attract more financial support from community-minded local businesses, restaurants, coffee shops, and individuals...while also enabling us to apply for grants!

Here's What We Still Need to Operate in 2026

The following are our remaining critical operating expenses for 2026:

Email Software: $29/Month {6 Months Still Needed}

Tech Support: $250/Month {11 Months Still Needed}

Table Hostess Supplies: $65 {7 Supply Sets Still Needed}

Annual MeetUp Software: $420 {FULFILLED for 2026!!! 🥳}

Encouragement: $10 {A Latte Love Needed- Your Contribution Tells Us You BELIEVE in our MISSION and SUPPORT US!}

Bookkeeping: $50/month {9 Months Still Needed}

Legal Fees for 501(c)(3) Formation: $3,250 {FULFILLED!!! 🥳}

Whether you contribute $5 or $500, every single dollar ensures that we will be able to continue to support YOU and bring Our Gathering Table to more communities.

What Happens After The Funds For Our Critical Needs Are Met?

There are three initial areas where additional funding from individuals and businesses will help us to serve more women...

First, Marketing Expenses to get the word out about Our Gathering Table.

We want to print materials about Our Gathering Table to give to Realtors and other businesses welcoming new women to our area so that they can quickly feel like they are a part of our community.
We also want to invest in advertising to let more women know about Our Gathering Table.
Additionally, we would like to be able to produce a high quality video that tells the story of Our Gathering Table and the incredible women we serve, to bring in more members and donors!

Second, we want to be able to fund expenses for our new "Care Team" that will serve our members in their time of need.

Welcoming a new child, the loss of a loved one, illnesses, etc.
As an example, because of the "A Latte Love" donations we received in December, we were able to purchase and put together Christmas Gift Bags for the women who joined us for Christmas Brunch...these women, for one reason or another, didn't have anyone to spend Christmas with, and we wanted to ensure that they felt seen, heard and loved. This is what it means to be a part of a life-giving community.

Finally, we would like to be able to purchase Table Hostess Supplies and possibly even coffee/lunch for women volunteering to serve as Table Hostesses (or at least help defray the meal costs) of the women who are continually serving as table hostesses.

Why This Matters

We are currently facing a worldwide epidemic of loneliness. Did you know that one study found that loneliness is more deadly than smoking 15 cigarettes a day! Sadly women, especially young women with children are experiencing the highest rates of loneliness currently. We have a proven way that helps women connect deeply, and we are ready to go out and serve as many women as possible!

How Does It Work?

You can select one-time contribution or recurring contribution option and BAM! You’ve put your dollars towards fighting the epidemic of loneliness by helping other women find deep, authentic connections and a life-giving community, so they too can feel seen, heard and supported.

What is Gathering Table Ministries?

Gathering Table Ministries is a nonprofit corporation organized in the State of Tennessee. We are in the process of applying for recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Once our application is approved, the effective date of exemption will be our official incorporation date of September 18, 2025. Your contribution may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law once our exemption is approved.
