Supporting Those Who Protect Corona

The Corona Police Community Partnership (CPCP) exists to strengthen the relationship between the Corona Police Department and the community we proudly serve. Through community events, youth engagement, educational programs, and fundraising initiatives, CPCP helps provide resources that enhance public safety and support the officers who dedicate their lives to protecting our city.

This year, we're rallying our community around an important goal: helping fund a new Police K-9 for the Corona Police Department.

Police K-9s are much more than partners. They are highly trained officers who assist with locating missing persons, tracking suspects, detecting narcotics and explosives, apprehending dangerous criminals, and protecting both officers and our community. Their speed, specialized training, and extraordinary abilities make them invaluable members of the department.

However, purchasing and training a Police K-9 is a significant investment. It includes not only the cost of acquiring the dog but also specialized training, equipment, veterinary care, and ongoing support throughout the K-9's service.

Every donation made through this event stays right here in Corona and helps ensure our Police Department has the resources needed to continue providing exceptional service. Together, we can equip another four-legged hero to stand alongside our officers, protect our neighborhoods, and make Corona an even safer place to live, work, and raise a family. A fully trained Police K-9 and the equipment needed to deploy it can cost $20,000–$40,000+, depending on training, specialty, and equipment.
Police K-9s assist with suspect apprehension, locating missing persons, narcotics detection, evidence recovery, officer protection, and community demonstrations.
Every dollar raised through this event supports the Corona Police Community Partnership's mission of strengthening the relationship between our community and the Corona Police Department while helping fund the next K-9 officer.
