For years, visual art enthusiasts in Fergus Falls dreamed of creating a dedicated space to celebrate the talented artists of west central Minnesota. That vision became reality in 2009 when Kaddatz Galleries opened its doors in the beautifully remodeled main floor of the historic Kaddatz Hotel.

The journey began in 2008 when passionate local art advocates formed a Board of Directors, established nonprofit status, and partnered with Artspace to transform the space into a premier gallery. From the beginning, we've maintained our commitment to accessibility—admission is always free, and everyone is welcome.

Our main gallery features carefully curated rotating selections of work by regional artists, complemented by focused exhibitions that change six times per year. Each new exhibition includes a reception where visitors can meet the featured artists and engage with their work.

Charles Beck, a beloved local artist and arts educator renowned for his interpretations of Minnesota landscapes, was honored in our inaugural exhibition. His celebrated work remains on display and available for purchase year-round.

In 2015, we expanded our vision by opening Studio K, a secondary gallery and community meeting space dedicated to showcasing smaller or more experimental collections from both established and emerging artists.

Kaddatz Galleries operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, making all donations tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
