Kitten Nursery Club --a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization-- based in the U.S, is starting a campaign to help the community cats of Colombia.

While her vacation there, our Vice-President, Stephanie Reina, came across a cat colony in Colombia that needed help. Though she came prepared with Revolution and other flea/tick/mite medications, we needed a veterinarian on the ground. She teamed up with Comedogs Colitas del Distrito of Cali, Colombia to run and sponsor a feral + stray cat fixing project with their veterinary team, and as of Aug 29, 2022--together they have been able to trap and fix 8 kitties in the colony so far.

Currently, Comedogs Colitas del Distrito funds its rescue work with their income from a small side store, where they sell snacks and things like socks they sew themselves. All proceeds from this fundraiser will directly benefit Comedogs Colitos del Distrito and their amazing work saving animals in need.
