King of the Mountain is a challenging 5-mile uphill bike race to the summit of Rockton Mountain. Open to cyclists ages 12+ (parent consent required for minors). Helmets required (ANSI or Snell certified).

Cash prizes for top 3 overall male & female riders: $100 | $75 | $50 Medals for 1st - 3rd place in multiple age, gender & bike-type categories (road vs. mountain).

IN CONSIDERATION OF the risk of injury that exists while participating in

King of the Mountain Bike Race (hereinafter “The Activity”); and

IN CONSIDERATION OF my desire to participate in said Activity and being given the right to participate in the same;

I HEREBY for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this WAIVER AND RELASE OF LIABILITY and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in the Activity. I certify that I am in good physical condition and hereby assume all risks and liabilities related to my participation. I release Habitat for Humanity of Clearfield County, Habitat for Humanity International, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, all landowners, any municipalities or other public entities (and their respective agents and employees) and all volunteers and sponsors from all claims or injury suffered by me while participating in this event. I understand the entry fee I pay is nonrefundable. I also give my permission for the free use of my name, picture, or likeness for any purposes related to the tour.

I understand and acknowledge that by signing this Release I knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm, damage and loss associated with the Activity. I also understand that the Released Parties do not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health or disability insurance in the event of injury, illness, death or property damage.
