Now, this remarkable machine has found its way into a new chapter of giving.

With the help of Wayne Rainey, the bike was secured from its previous owner after remaining largely untouched since 2017, showing only 25 original miles. Since then, significant time, care, and investment have gone into bringing it back to life. With Yamaha’s help, a certificate of origin was obtained, a non-operational title was secured, and meaningful mechanical work has been completed to properly revive and preserve the bike.

What remains is an incredibly rare opportunity to own a motorcycle with genuine provenance, powerful visual impact, and a story rooted in racing history, craftsmanship, and charitable purpose.

This FJ-09 was expertly transformed into a one-of-a-kind “KR Special” Adventure Rally Bike by Team Roberts, with parts and technical assistance provided by Saddlemen, Öhlins USA, Buchanan’s Spoke & Rim, Inc., Don Serrano Custom Paint, Clearwater Lights, Dunlop Tires, and Motion Pro.

With its custom rally fairing, custom wheels, upgraded suspension, exhaust, GPS equipment, and numerous specialty components, this is not simply a motorcycle — it is a conversation piece, a collector’s piece, and a meaningful piece of American racing culture.
