What if I can't afford the registration fee? If you are experiencing financial hardship, we warmly invite you to reach out to us at info@tergarinstitute.org. We're happy to provide you with a discount code to register at a reduced fee. We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.

What if I live in Nepal or India? If you are a resident of Nepal or India, you are welcome to attend the teachings free of charge. Please email us at info@tergarinstitute.org and we'll provide you with a code to register at no cost. We'll also send a link where you can make an optional donation if you feel inspired to contribute. We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.

Will recordings be available? Yes! Recordings of the teachings will be available on your Tergar International account. Please register using the same email address associated with your Tergar International account. If you don't yet have a Tergar International account, you can create one at tergar.org.

Why is there a processing fee on my payment? Can I opt out of covering this processing fee? All payments made to Tergar Institute via Givebutter are processed by a payment processing service. This service comes with a small fee for each transaction.

If you opt out, we will cover this fee for you, no problem!

If you opt in, you will help cover the bank fees in addition to your payment; this helps more money go to our work instead of processing fees.

You can opt out of paying transaction fee:

Why is there a tip on my payment? Can I opt out of tipping? When making a payment to Tergar Institute via GiveButter, you may be prompted to leave a tip. This tip goes directly to GiveButter to help support their platform — it does not go to Tergar Institute.

If you opt out, no worries at all — your full payment still goes to our work!

If you opt in, you help support the GiveButter platform that makes our events and donations possible.

You can opt out of the tip:

Click on the pre-selected tip percentage
Select "Other" and set the amount to $0

Can I receive a refund of my payment? Yes, your payment is fully refundable minus banking fees. Refunds will be given for cancellation requests up to 3 days before the event. To request a refund please send an email to info@tergarinstitute.org. Our staff will refund your payment, which may take 5-10 business days to process into your accounts. You can expect to receive an email confirming the refund along with a receipt of the refund for your records.

Do you sell or share my data? No, we will not sell your data to another party. In the event we want to share data with another Tergar Mandala organization in the future (e.g., Tergar International, Tergar Schools, etc.) we will specifically request your permission before doing so.

How do I request access, updates, or deletion of data you have collected? You can send an email to info@tergarinstitute.org and one of our staff members will assist you with your request.

Where can I view your Privacy Policy? We are using a fundraising and donor management service called Givebutter to help process and manage events and donations.
