For more than 35 years, the Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellowship has introduced rising D.C. reporters to the city they’re assigned to cover. In monthly sessions, fellows learn what it takes to cover the White House, Supreme Court, Capitol, Pentagon, Justice Department and other key government institutions.

Lawmakers, analysts and the top journalists in the business will lead discussions on policy, politics and best practices in reporting designed to help fellows thrive on their demanding beats. Equally important: it is an opportunity to network with colleagues to grow personally and professionally.
