Now it's time to turn our attention to the threats lurking beneath the water's surface.

As we move into the end of summer and early fall, Lake Tahoe's water quality can face serious threats from harmful algae blooms (HABs) and invasive species. While HABs have NOT been identified this summer, we must stay alert and proactive against creeping invasive species. These challenges can turn the clear blue waters of Lake Tahoe cloudy and green and harm aquatic life.

But you can make a difference. Help us meet the last 25% of our goal to combat these threats.
