ANNUAL GOLF OUTING

For the past 8 years, the Kent Rugby Foundation has hosted the Annual Alumni Golf Outing as a fundraising event for the Kent State Rugby Club. Though affiliated with the university, the club is self-sufficient and relies solely on its players, alumni, and sponsors for all financial support. Each active player is held to a high academic standard and must represent themselves, the university, and the overall club professionally, on and off the field. Proceeds from this event go directly to each club to help alleviate the costs and player fees incurred each season, such as paying referees, conference dues, renting facilities, and purchasing new equipment.

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS:

Supporting Sponsor:

All donations of $50+ receive social media recognition & name or business displayed on outing signage at the clubhouse during the golf outing.

Blue Sponsor:

All donations of $100+ will get their name or business on a tee box sign, along with the Supporting Sponsor Level.

Gold Sponsor:

All donations of $250+ will receive a $50 gift card to the Kent Rugby Store, along with the Blue Sponsor Level.

Lightning Sponsor:

All donations of $500+ will receive Supporting and Blue sponsorship levels and a $100 gift card to the Kent Rugby Store.

***The deadline to sponsor is EOB August 25th, 2025. Any sponsorships received after this date will only receive social media recognition, signage in the clubhouse, and any applicable gift cards.

****Registration is open for 68 golfers and will close once full, or on August 25, 2025 - whichever occurs first.

The Kent Rugby Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting the game of rugby throughout the state of Ohio. The Kent Rugby Foundation is its own entity and is not directly affiliated with any other school, business, or organization. Through fundraising events and donations from our supporters, we are not only capable of supporting our home clubs, but also rugby clubs at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels. We are rugby players, past and present. We know the struggles each club faces year after year. Our goal is to lessen those struggles and help increase visibility of the sport we love. Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. We seek to support, empower, and provide high-quality resources to our community to help grow the game of rugby. Our success isn’t measured in terms of wealth or profit margin, but by the value we provide to those we serve.
