On Saturday, August 17th, former Air Force Special Warfare Operator Kevin Shears is taking on the Leadville Trail 100—a race that pushes runners to their absolute limits. With over 15,000 feet of elevation gain and rugged terrain that’s tested endurance athletes for nearly four decades, this is one of the oldest and toughest 100-mile races in America.

The goal? To conquer 100 miles in under 30 hours. But this challenge is more significant than just the miles.

Together with the Combat Control Foundation and the TACP Foundation, we’re rallying our community to raise funds for Foland—a 100-acre property dedicated to the rest and recovery of our Air Force Special Warfare operators and their families.
