My name is John Kuboja. I am 31 years old and a professionally trained teacher holding a Bachelor of Arts with Education from the University of Dar es Salaam (graduated in 2017).
Currently, I serve as the Project Coordinator for the 4HCP project. My favorite subjects have always been English Language and ICT. I am passionate about youth empowerment and community development, and my career goal is to expand learning opportunities through experiential programs in Tanzania, specifically in the Mara region.
I am excited to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to inspire students, demonstrate resilience, and help raise funds for 4HCP initiatives.
Veneranda Manyama (Girl Student)
My name is Veneranda Manyama. I am 17 years old and a Form Four student at Nyegina Secondary School. I joined this school through a Willmann Scholars sponsorship from Tanzania Development Support.
My favorite subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Basic Mathematics, and my career goal is to become a doctor (surgeon). I am also a member of the 4H club, which teaches practical life skills.
I am very excited to climb Mount Kilimanjaro because it is my first time, and also as part of raising funds to support improved education for young people from poor backgrounds in the rural areas of Musoma, especially young girls.
Mareges Thobias Mberege (Boy Student)
My name is Mareges Thobias Mberege. I am 17 years old and a Form Four student at Etaro Secondary School, where I study Science subjects. This is my fourth year in secondary school.
My favorite subject is Information and Computer Studies (ICS), and my future career goal is to become an ICT professional specializing in web development. I also like studying English because it works hand in hand with ICT.
I am very excited to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for all 4HCP projects and also to see the mountain's natural beauty.
