Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano located in Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. It has three volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: 5,895m above sea level and about 4,900m above its plateau base.

We will have guides to lead us through the Machame Route, which will entail a 4 day ascent and a 2 day descent. This particular route is of moderate difficulty and will require some preparation. Your safety is our number one priority, so we have made sure you will be provided with a thorough orientation so there will be no surprises.

COSTS/FUNDRAISING

$ 6,500.00 per person is the base cost for everything.

Includes International Flights,

Regional Flights, All Accommodation,

Preparation, 5 Star Porter/Guide Climb

Team, Climbing Fees, Tents, Food on

Mountain, Full Day Safari, Fundraising

Profile, SWAG, Full Coverage Insurance,

Transits etc.

Does not include: Sleeping Bags, Hike Clothing/Gear/Hiking Boots/Backpack, Tanzanian Visa ($150), Personal Meds.

Does not include: Personal sightseeing, additional nights. Additional days in country at your own cost and can be fully arranged.

Note: ALL required hiking provision/gear can be RENTED in Tanzania for approx $150-$200 - all Items. (Should you not want to carry equip. internationally)

Although $6500 will cover your basic costs we request that you pursue a fundraising goal of at least $10,000 and above.
