A very specific and mapped out budget for KOSER 2026 includes two main parts: a beautiful concept album for your listening pleasure, and a small regional tour to spread for everyone’s listening pleasure!

But first... who the heck are we?!

KOSER is an award-winning musical powerhouse bringing you what cool cats call “Galactic Glitter Grunge.” In just three short years, we’ve grown from a Philly hometown favorite into a bicoastal touring, festival-rocking act! As our sound keeps evolving, our fan family keeps growing. We see every show as a chance to create the best, most unforgettable musical experience possible.

Accolades include:
- Alternative Song of the Year for "Lightning Bug", Hometown Heroes Awards
- Songwriting award "Bad Mood Club", Every Cent Counts
- NPR Tiny Desk Opener for Philharmonik
- Nationally televised, nationally broadcasted

Multiple performances at large scale festivals:
- Beardfest, Ladybug Fest, Bethlehem Musikfest, Dinah Shore, and others
- Shared the stage with the likes of Ludacris, Chicago, Margaret Glaspy, Martha Wash, The Family Crest, Cadalay, and other awesome up and coming humans.

So... do you like numbers?

Tracking drums and vocals in a reputable local studio for this project’s length will cost us $5,000. These numbers might surprise you... we get that. Believe it or not, $5k for what we will accomplish is on the low end. We will save funding by recording guitars at home where possible and recording in bulk with our friends at Spice House Recording. The cost of mixing and mastering, usually $500+ per song, is factored into this cost. Thank you for your reading support thus far!

Speaking of art, no musical campaign is complete without the artwork and visuals. While we would love to use this particular funding for music videos, that is definitely a costly expense to do at the quality we are ready for. We will save music videos for our stretch goals, and use a piece of this budget for badass art and YouTube lyric videos/ visualizers. We will save money here by designing a lot ourselves AND outsourcing what we can’t create to local artists who deserve fair pay too!

Lastly, in order to actually get the tunes out into the world, a proper budget must be set aside for distribution and marketing. When everything is said is done in this category, and the aforementioned components, we are looking at $7,500.

Now to marry this plan with a touring plan!

In short- we’ve divided touring into transportation, accommodations, merch (yay!), marketing, crew, and miscellaneous. Our first plan is to rent a van, saving money with local driving-distance shows. We are grateful to have some friends in car rental companies, so this expense will come to $1,500. We will couch surf and stay with friends in local cities, but where we can’t we are allocating $800 to lodging. Do you see the pattern we are creating? We want to save money as often as possible, as we are grateful for every dollar earned or received from loving supporters like you!

This is the most important mission our band has been a part of... and we are as dedicated as they come. This portion of our plan (tour, tour goodies, and paying our musicians the money they deserve), we are looking at $12,500.
