64% of $12,000 goal
On November 13, 2022, the Casco Bay Mariners U16 Tier 2 team won the Maine state championship, earning a trip to USA Hockey Nationals.
The team began practicing in August and participated in several out-of-state tournaments (Tier 1 and Tier 2) and played MEAHA league games against other Maine club teams (Gladiators, Junior Black Bears, Moose, and Evolution). The Mariners finished their MEAHA season undefeated!
The team’s 18 players hail from: Brunswick, China, Falmouth, Freeport, Gorham, Lincolnville, North Yarmouth, Portland, Sidney, South Portland, Westbrook, and Windham.
Mariners are working to raise funds to offset the cost for the team, families, and coaches to travel to Amherst, NY March 30-April 3, 2023 for this 5-day tournament. Please consider a tax-deductible donation (no amount too small!) to help get the team to Nationals to represent Casco Bay and the state of Maine!
