Give Like Dolly!

Join us this September 25th for the first annual Give Like Dolly Day! We are challenging everyone in our community to give $9.25 (or more!) to ensure children in our area continue to receive books each month! The Dolly Foundation will continue to support the Imagination Library with funding for the bulk of the program. But it takes our local affiliate 15.00 per year per child to pay for postage. Dolly doesn't pay for the entire program because local literacy requires local commitment! You can invest in the future of literacy in our community by joining the 9 to 5 challenge!

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library provides FREE monthly books to children from birth till their 5th birthday. While the Imagination Library covers many of the administrative expenses, the program also requires financial investment from the LOCAL community to cover the cost of the books. For $31, you can help provide books for a child AND receive a free bumper sticker to show your support (donations of $15 to $30 will receive a smaller bumper sticker).

Currently 2,299 children from Pope and Yell counties are enrolled in Dolly Parton's Arkansas Imagination Library. Over 6,000 local children are eligible--help us keep reach more families and keep this important literacy program viable in our community!

Here is what we want you to know: childhood literacy is SO important. But we can't raise child literacy rates without ALSO raising adult literacy rates. No one learns in a vacuum. Our family literacy programing reaches across generations to build bridges and new futures. Join us!
