LegalEASE is proud to launch a fundraising campaign in support of Families to Freedom in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Our aim is to raise awareness, foster understanding, and provide much-needed funds to help those affected by domestic violence find safety, solace, and a path to a brighter future.

Domestic violence affects countless families, touching lives without discrimination. As part of our commitment to community empowerment, LegalEASE believes in supporting organizations that offer refuge, resources, and recovery options for those in need.

About Families to Freedom:

Families to Freedom provides free transportation services to victims and their children who have experienced domestic abuse or family violence. They make it possible for victims and new survivors to get far away from abusive relationships. Families to Freedom’s life-saving services include car rides to domestic violence shelters across North Texas, East Texas and the Greater Houston area, road trips to family homes in other states, multi-state bus tickets, and fuel assistance to relocate far away. They serve shelter survivors as well as hotline callers not yet in a safe place. Families to Freedom serves over 1,000 victims and children each year, and relies on the generous support of the donors and businesses to continue providing these services at no cost to clients.

Fundraising Target:
Our goal is to raise $50,000 during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Every dollar counts and will directly contribute to the vital services provided by Families to Freedom.

What Your Donation Means...

Transport Services: Many victims find it challenging to escape abusive environments due to lack of transportation. Your donation helps fund the costs of safely relocating individuals and families to secure locations.

Counseling Services: Recovery from trauma requires support and guidance. Funds raised will provide victims with access to professional counseling services to navigate their healing journey.

Education and Resources: Equip victims with the knowledge and tools they need to rebuild their lives. This includes legal guidance, job training, and housing resources.
