Long Beach Century Club was formed in 1957 by 100 Long Beach sports enthusiasts who each contributed $100 and were expected to contribute 100 hours of volunteer work for the Club's activities. After all these years, dues remain at $100 per year! Membership is now roughly 300 members.

Over the years, the Century Club has supported thousands of athletes in Long Beach. It has sent athletes to all corners of the globe for competitions, many of whom have returned with World or Olympic Championships.

The Club typically hosts three major events each year:

May 20, 2024 - The Middle School Banquet

June 17, 2024 - The Annual Sports Banquet and Hall of Fame Induction

September 12, 2024 - The Mayor's Cup Charity Golf Tournament

Meetings are held on Tuesdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Socializing with members and guests starts at 5:00 p.m.
