My name is El, or Coach Contreras to my students. This is my third year at LC Anderson and I have loved being part and leading this amazing group of students. I started in 2022 as the assistant coach and have served as the head coach since 2023. I did speech and debate in high school (go Rattlers) and judged in Austin through my years at UT (hook em!). My favorite part about this team is the students. I constantly brag about how amazing each and every one of them are, from the newest novice to the senior officers. I have loved getting to work with them, watch them grow and build their skills, and become fantastic people! Any donations will help us cover travel costs to our national and state competitions this year, cover the cost of consultants to help our students build their skills, scholarships for travel, entry and judging fees for local tournaments, and more!
