Robert McEwen

Robert, also known as Robbie, joined Nebraska Appleseed as a staff attorney. He is the Legal Director of Appleseed since 2017. In this role, he has litigated on behalf of Nebraskans regarding issues including Medicaid, the Indian Child Welfare Act, and enforcement of both the Nebraska and United States constitutions. Robbie graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He earned his J.D. at the University of Nebraska College of Law. In addition to his work at Appleseed, Robert moonlights as a college professor teaching business and sports courses at Concordia University in Seward.

We will talk about his work with MORE to address the Legal Desert in Nebraska as it relates to People of Color and the community's challenges in dealing with justice in Nebraska.
