Support Inclusive Play in Harrison County

The Leadership Harrison County Class of 2026 has chosen a project that will make a meaningful and lasting impact on families throughout our community. This year, we are raising funds to install playground communication boards at local parks. These boards assist community members with limited verbal ability and help promote inclusivity in our public spaces.

🎉 WE REACHED OUR $10,000 GOAL! 🎉

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have officially reached our fundraising goal—fully funding five Picture Communication Boards to support inclusive play and communication in Harrison County parks.

📍 These boards will be installed at:

Possibility Playground at Hayswood Nature Reserve
Gresham Park
Buffalo Trace
Rhoads Pool
South Harrison Park

Any additional funds will be used to support the installation and upkeep of the boards, including unanticipated costs, as well as to provide additional community support through Leadership Harrison County.
