Make me pay! This year, I’m matching any donation up to $1,000 total to The Red & Black, the award-winning student newsroom that covers UGA and Athens. 

The R&B is an independent non-profit newsroom. That means it gets no money from UGA. That’s great in terms of editorial independence but also means we have to work hard to fundraise to pay student journalists for their work. 

Donate before December 31 and I’ll match your donation. We also have national grants that will match that. So your $1 becomes $3. What a bargain for hands-on training for the next generation of journalists.
