The Lavender Library is turning 25! Join us on November 5 to celebrate the enduring legacy of our all-volunteer operated and community sustained LGBTQ+ library. We've survived through recessions, pandemics, political backlash, bigotry, and hate thanks to the efforts and incredible courage, generosity, and hard work of volunteers, donors, and patrons. On Sunday, November 5, we'll commemorate this sanctuary of queer and trans history, community, and joy! There will be a ribbon-cutting to honor our remodel, performances, food, drinks, and speakers from the Lavender Library's past and present to highlight what the space and community has accomplished in the last 25 years. Consider this your chance to celebrate with us and see our space fully refreshed from our GLOW UP project (a.k.a. remodel). Embrace the 25th-anniversary theme and dress to impress in Silver & (L)Lace. This is a free event, but donations are greatly appreciated.
