Landon's Legacy Foundation (LLF) was founded in order to remember and honor Landon Smith who was born with Spina Bifida. Landon dreamed of playing baseball however, his disease confined him to a wheelchair, Landon lost his fight for life on June 3, 2013, just days before his 18th birthday.

In order to keep Landon’s memory alive, his family established Landon's Legacy Foundation with the intention of having Landon's dream of playing baseball realized by other children and adults with similar challenges in life. Landon's Miracle Field was completed and celebrated with a Grand Opening Event in August 2021. Since then there have been over 15 Miracle League Games at Landon's Field.

Currently, Landon’s Legacy is fundraising for Phase 2, Landon's Inclusive Playground, and comes with a price tag of $1,300,000. The Playground will have sidewalks leading to the play area and will have a solid surface under the playground equipment. Landon's Inclusive Playground can be utilized by able-bodied and those with special needs or limitations of some kind. It is the goal of the project that siblings and friends will be able to play alongside each other regardless of special conditions or limitations. The park will be completely fenced for safety and this will put families more at ease when they are at Landon's Park with their child, in the event a child has wandered off there is one way in and out.
