As Orcas Island’s only out-of-school center, our commitment is to never turn families away due to financial need, which means we rely on the generosity of individual donors like you.

We believe every young person should experience joy and are deliberate in how we cultivate and enhance positive experiences for children at the Funhouse. These experiences help shape confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning, which are predictive of future success.

As we enter our 25th anniversary year , we are excited to raise the MAST for Music, Art, Science, and Technology.

Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store:

MUSIC: “Richie Moore Song Shop” A brand new space where young people can discover the joy of music creation and experience the power of self-expression through song.
ART: We are broadening our reach to serve even more kids with creative opportunities and nurturing their artistic spirits.
SCIENCE: In addition to our annual Science Fair, we continue to foster outdoor discovery, astronomy, and science clubs.
TECHNOLOGY: With a new 3D printer lab and electronics classes, our tech programs will provide young innovators the chance to bring their ideas to life.
