All are invited to join AAPI New Jersey for our Lunar New Year celebration in honor of the Year of the Snake!

Our inclusive, family-oriented celebration returns to the Montclair Art Museum as we usher in the Year of the Snake, a symbol of wisdom and strength. Join us for an afternoon of cultural performances (including K-pop dancers, Japanese and Korean drummers, Wushu performers, and the ever-impressive face changer), local Asian food, kid-friendly crafts, and a vibrant vendor marketplace.

We can’t wait to welcome you and your loved ones to this joyous festival as we come together as a community and ring in 2025.

*Following our core value of inclusion, we have set general admission at just $8 for individuals and $28 for families (limit 5 attendees per family). Children under the age of 5 are admitted free. Fee waivers are available for anyone with need.

About the Montclair Art Museum

The Montclair Art Museum (MAM) boasts a renowned collection of American and Native American art that uniquely highlights art-making in the United States over the last 300 years. Works in MAM's Native American art collection span the period of ca. 1200 C.E. to the present day. The Vance Wall Art Education Center encompasses the Museum’s educational efforts, including award-winning Yard School of Art studio classes, lectures and talks, family events, tours, and the mobile MAM Art Truck.
